Private intake

Nothing you share is automatically published.

You decide whether to identify yourself, whether Out ORU may contact you, and whether a future publication conversation happens at all. Contact permission is never publication permission.

Content note: This page explains privacy limits and the risks of sharing sensitive experiences. It does not currently ask you to recount them.

Choose the relationship

Contact and publication are separate doors.

A person can make private contact without submitting a story. An anonymous research submission can remain anonymous. Neither path creates permission to publish.

PATH 01

Private contact only

Ask a question, flag a record, or open a private conversation without submitting testimony or granting publication rights.

  • Contact information optional where a reply is not needed
  • No public attribution choice required
  • No automatic editorial follow-up

PATH 02

Anonymous-capable story intake

Share information for private moderation with name and contact left blank. Publication choices remain off.

  • Broad attendance period and themes only
  • Reference and withdrawal code at submission
  • Separate later consent for every public element

Safe development state

The intake interface is built. Collection is closed.

A reviewed moderation backend, access controls, encryption, retention jobs, abuse controls, and a private withdrawal system are not configured yet. For that reason, this site does not let anyone type, transmit, or store testimony.

Nothing entered here can be submitted. The disabled fields show the intended data-minimized flow without creating a false promise of secure storage.

Plain-language limits

Privacy has edges. We name them.

Out ORU will minimize what it collects and restrict who can access it, but it will not promise perfect anonymity or absolute deletion. Legal process, a security incident, screenshots, or details within a story can create risk.

Out ORU is not an emergency service, legal representative, therapist, or mandated confidential provider. A future live form must explain its retention period and legal-process response before accepting material.

Testimony will not be used for advertising, session replay, analytics, confirmation emails, or model training without a separate, explicit choice.

Withdrawal

A code, a route, and a real response.

A live intake will issue a non-identifying reference code. That code can be used to request deletion before publication, narrow contact permission, or begin a published-story withdrawal.

  1. Before publication: stop work, remove shared drafts, retain only the minimum confidential audit record.
  2. After publication: remove the story from the site, navigation, sitemap, structured data, feeds, and Out ORU-controlled promotion.
  3. Be honest about limits: explain that third-party screenshots, archives, quotations, and caches may persist.
