- Acknowledge. Confirm the request without repeating sensitive material into an unsafe channel.
- Assess. Compare the request with the source record, privacy risk, public interest, and legal obligations.
- Act. Correct, clarify, temporarily unpublish, decline with reasons, or seek further evidence.
- Propagate. Update the page, datasets, captions, metadata, structured data, feeds, and share assets when affected.
