Policies & Title IX

Read the rule. Then read its limits.

Current institutional policies, federal exemption records, and court outcomes answer different questions. This page holds them beside one another without collapsing them.

Current public policy

What ORU says now.

These summaries link to ORU’s own public pages. Policy language establishes the written rule; it does not, by itself, establish how the rule was applied in an individual case.

Four separate propositions

The legal record, kept in scope.

Each statement below is supported by a public federal or court record. None should be stretched beyond the wording shown.

What this page cannot prove

Written policy is not a substitute for testimony.

A policy page can establish wording and stated process. A court opinion can establish what a court held. Neither proves every person’s experience—and an allegation remains an allegation unless another record changes its status.
